Jewish Eating Disorder Professional Conference

JEDPro is a dedicated space for mental health and healthcare providers to explore the unique intersection of Jewish identity, culture, and eating disorder treatment. Many Jewish providers feel alienated in both the broader mental health field and the eating disorder treatment space, where mainstream approaches often overlook the profound impact of religion, culture, and community on a person’s relationship with food, body image, and healing.

This conference was created to fill that gap by providing a safe, inclusive, and professionally enriching environment where therapists, dietitians, medical professionals, and community leaders can come together to address the specific challenges and needs of Jewish clients and practitioners. Our goal is to foster conversations that integrate cultural competence, religious sensitivity, and clinical best practices, ensuring that the full breadth of the Jewish community is represented, acknowledged and receives the specialized, compassionate care they deserve.

We invite you to join us in creating a space where Jewish professionals and clients feel truly seen, supported, and empowered in the fight against eating disorders. Together, we can reshape the conversation, build stronger connections, and ensure that no one in our community struggles alone.
